Peter Jenkins Commissioning Manager - Senior Instrument & Controls Engineer / Director BETech(Industrial Inst)
Peter Jenkins is a qualified Instrument & Controls Engineer and is the Director of Ratio Control Engineering, with 25+ year’s international onshore & offshore experience in the oil / gas and chemical industries. Peter has completed two separate apprenticeships in Instrumentation (1985) and then as a licensed Electrician (1996). He later studied his bachelor of engineering technologist’s degree in industrial instrumentation by distance learning at Central Queensland University. He has also formally studied Vietnamese as a second language and holds a Type B gas appliance license.
Peter has previously worked for ADI (Department of Defense –Australian Government), Albright & Wilson, Upstream Petroleum, AGR Asia Pacific, ROC Oil, Santos, Tru Energy - Lochard, Esso Australia, Exxon Mobil, Origin Energy, Worley Parsons, Chevron, APA Group, Snowy Hydro Limited, Cooper Energy, BMC Group etc.
Throughout his career he has managed and supervised a range of projects from FEED, right through to commissioning and then hand over to operations. Having a “hands on” background has given Peter the valuable insight & experience to cover all bases and facets of engineering, projects and commissioning etc.
Peter has worked at sea and during dry-dock periods, both in Australia and in SE Asia.
Peter’s in-depth understanding, experience and industry knowledge enables him to ensure that ‘best practice’ is attained. With deep-industry knowledge and international contacts, he has an enthusiasm for working in the oil & gas industry, and the desire to deliver exceptional service and integrity. |
